There are no excuses anymore. To have a powerful ministry, all you need is a cell phone.
Folks..it was hard to do when I started. I had to have a technical background, a good computer, useful software, and lots of youth and stamina. Now anyone can do it. A cell phone. A library computer. Free tools that are available ALL OVER THE INTERNET! There just is NO reason why every Christian on Earth should not have their own ministry.
You can hit whatever niche you want! I jump on a lot of them, because I can and because I’ve been doing this awhile, but you don’t have to be so general. You can even do something like dog lovers by posting a flier at your local dog-park about your prayer blog. Free blogs are all over the place. Pick whichever you like.
I love doing this! It is a great reason to get up everyday and get things done. I touch lives all over the planet. I target people who usually would never hear of Christ. You are expected to do the same thing, believe it or not. Even if you are laid up, you can still grab your phone and get things done. Anyone can pull this off! You don’t need any special instructions. A blog and a few posts on other blogs about yours...and you’re going!
People always ask me about why I spend time doing stuff that never makes any money. Well, there is a good reason why. It is the POWER OF THE CONCEPT! Worldwide reach for Christ, with virtually no money needed! That’s why I do it. I have tried to work in some ways to pay the bills, but apparently that is not what God needs. He needs hearts and minds who are loyal to his one and only Son. That’s what He needs.
Take a few minutes to assess this. Five minutes to start a blog on Wordpress or Blogger. Five more minutes to spend some time talking about it on Twitter or Facebook. Boom....done. Was that hard? You are now a minister, and it only took you ten minutes. It really is that simple.
And of course, you have something I definitely did not have.....a mentor! I’m always here if you need me.
