…...otherwise known as the sliding door effect. You come in, you stir things up a bit, then you go out. There is no proof that anything you did, said, thought, or experienced is actually true. The one thing worth holding on to, you never stop holding it. But the environment, and the change it instills, are the only thing you ever really feel.
What makes us what we are? I used to think it was accomplishments. I thought all the awards I racked up as a child actually meant something. They gave me self-confidence, and the courage to keep trying new things, so that my conquering could continue. Then adulthood came, and the only thing that continued was relationships.
I guess you could say that my connection with God is something of mystery. I don’t really get it. I don’t really get Him. But He sends so much good stuff my way...it would be silly to question Him. They say God and the devil both provide you with things, but that God expects a reasonable return, whereas the devil takes your soul as repayment. I guess I’m working for the right guy, as I still believe that my soul has not been mortgaged.
Let’s take a peek at a few things. Let’s see what’s worthwhile. I guess the normal topic that comes up is love, right? Well, there are lots of different kinds. So I must ask what the most valuable kind is? In my mind it is love of truth. After all...what else can really be proved? You can say whatever you want, do whatever you want, but where’s the proof? The proof is in the truth! And there is no better truth than the Christ.
He came, He saw, He conquered. He pulled off all the mysteries, He climbed all the mountains, and He walked away with the goods. He grabbed the whole planet, even if the planet does not know that yet. The best thoughts, the best relationships, the best miracles...they are all His. When you really study Him....you step into another world. This present world....it becomes your playground. Your canvas. For making all the change you desire.
I used to think that Jesus had an end. In reality He is the living infinity. He is the alpha and the omega. The beginning and the end. It all starts and stops with Him. If you have His permission to play with His world.....then the miracles start. Get ready for that to happen.
