The hidden meaning of coincidence and reflection

There is no such thing as happenstance!

The world is a reflection of you. Everything that occurs, everything that you see, hear, witness, and feel...can all be incorporated into your own life. Luck is something that really does not exist, at least not in the context that you have probably been viewing it.

Have you noticed that after you make a key decision in your life, things either start to line up to support that decision, or instead they fight against it? That is how everything tends to flow, even with something as simple as how to spend a day or who you choose to spend time with. God is obviously a part of this system, and through these kinds of self-reflections, He is actually opening Himself to you. He is indicating His judgement of your judgement. What you are doing is either on a positive path or a negative one. That is the entire makeup of you and your world, positive and negative. The more you experience of either, the better or worse your journey is.

Take, for example, the radio. I have come to notice that during times in my life when I’m going through certain trials, “coincidental” radio songs or commentary seems to line up with whatever is going on. The weather, believe it or not, tends to be powered by the overall energy being created by any one locality. Some of you may have disagreements with this, but things like hurricanes, earthquakes, fires....and the such....are directly affected by the energies in the areas.

Lots of folks like to look at Hurricane Katrina as a good example of this. People have been aware for a while that while New Orleans is a charming city, it is not exactly a paragon of righteousness. The government tends to be corrupt, and the partying routinely gets out of control. Even the murder rate is sky high, sometimes the top number for the whole country. When Katrina was headed for New Orleans, people everywhere started praying for a positive outcome. Then, right as the eye of the hurricane was going to land in the most populated portion of town...it veered away and created less damage than expected. That is a reflection of the power of prayer in action!

Have you ever wondered why some people have an easier time in life than others? These folks have learned to live by the lessons of Jesus. Their attitude and perspective becomes an outlet for the positive energy flowing through their mind, body, and spirit. Of course good things seem to happen to them. Of course! The circumstances in their life are just reflections of how they are looking at the world, as well as the people in it.

Ask yourself why your mood seems to dictate your life. When you are happy, good things seem to happen. When you are sad, everything sucks. That is testament to the world reacting to your perspective.

We can go round and round with this discussion, but we will always arrive at one conclusion: Christians are the happiest people in the world, because our Savior provides a light in us that is reflected in every occurrence and person in our lives.
