People….God loves working with you. He LOVES it! He created this place purely for that purpose! He loves flying in and out of our lives, helping us deal with stuff, but also empowering us. He pushes us toward our own goals, but in the process HIS are completed AS WELL.
I get asked all the time what the will of God is. My answer is that it is your most important healthy goal. That is God’s will for you. He wants you to accomplish your most important goals, and He stands at the ready, filling the miracle chamber so that when the time is right, He can flood your life with them.
I used to focus on lots of different stuff. I guess I still do. But what I have come to understand is that God gave me free will so I can design my life in the fashion that suits me, assuming my goals are healthy. If they are the kind of goals that God approves of, and He approves everything that brings us joy, then they fit properly in my life.
Do you really want to spend the rest of your life saying “God…what now?” Folks, He will never answer that question! Never! You will be screaming that at the sky until they put you in a box. Want to get on a faster track to happiness? Do what brings you joy, and let God guide you toward that in whatever fashion He chooses.
Christians need to understand that God IS a SUBMISSION God….but He is not an OMISSION God. He does not wipe away your life, and substitute in something you are not interested in. He takes YOUR CHOICES….makes them PERFECT through circumstance and lessons, and then POWERS you toward completing them.
I want to live forever! I really do. And you know what? So does God! So on I go, running down this merry path, enjoying my daily missions, and resting safe in the knowledge that God wants me to be happy above all else. That is what joy is all about.
