Blaming God and/or Satan for catastrophes

Complete luancy.

I think the bible has given the planet a bad rap. What is the real point of breaking logic down this way? It does not make the slightest bit of sense.

So...in Japan...thousands dead. Why? That’s just life. Energy converting from one form to another. That is the only reason. If you start pointing fingers at God or the devil, you are engaging in a kind of judgement that is not meant for humans.

Folks, I’m really not a fan of preachers that claim to have an answer for everything. There are some things that are a mystery, and always will be. The holocaust was just one evil man killing people he did not agree with. God never had a big issue with the Jews, nor will He ever. He looks at all of us with the same loving eyes, and always has.

Take a minute. Think about what you probably heard in church yesterday. I’m fairly certain some of you heard talks that centered around the quake, tsunami, and suffering. Was there a motive described? Some of you will say yes. Some of you will say no. But in general, as an entire people of Christ, we generally blow these calls in a big, big way.

God wants everyone to succeed. He wants everyone to be happy. Rich or poor, black or white, Christian or Muslim or Jew or Buddhist....He completely and totally works for everyone’s success. Believing that He picks and chooses favorites is silly. What you should really be looking at is your own perspective of Him and what your own prayer life is like. Folks, if you want to improve things for you and your friends and family, just turn up the prayer power. Do it more often. Do it in more sincere fashion. And don’t stop.

Just don’t stop.
