I don't know about you guys, but I only know one thing - Jesus is real, and He offers more evidence than ANYTHING in this world.
I read a book a long time ago, at the ripe old age of 21. It was a book that was literally 400 pages, only talking about miracles and how they are the only thing that really exists. Hmmm...miracles...the only thing...makes you think for a minute. If that's the only thing that really exists...then everything else is an illusion. Think about that for a minute.
So why is Jesus here? What does He provide for us, since there is not much proof of other things. Well, He offers us a stable foundation upon which we can build our lives! That's a very big deal! If you do it any other way, then you are working on a mountain of assumptions. Assumptions...what assumptions? Well, everything. Sit for a minute and wipe away all of your usual thoughts regarding this world. What really exists? What is really here? Interesting how it really just seems to come down to Jesus or nothing, huh?
As we work together more and more over the years, you'll understand why Jesus is who He is and why He is so important in this place, whatever this place is. He provides everything! He provides the truth, the way, the faith, the joy....the everything. That's why we worship Him, that's why He is key to this world, that's why more follow Him than anything.
All I'm asking of you is that you really analyze your place in this place. Ask God why you are doing what you are doing. Then make tomorrow a different day than usual! Make corrections in thinking and habits. Then ask why. Over and over again. Ask why. It will draw you into a closer space with the Lord where the only thing that exists are miracles.
I am not kidding at all when I speak of imminent miracles! They are constantly happening and as you begin to really work with the Holy Spirit, you will see them occurring more and more, to the point where your entire life becomes a work of miracles through our Savior.
