The only lesson you need.
Folks...if you have any hesitation about what you would do for Christ, you are always going to have issues. If there is something you would not do, say, or think....you are always going to feel like you’re missing the point.
In my teens, I always said that I would have limitations. I thought they were smart. They were rules I needed to live by to be successful. And that was okay, until my circumstances changed. When my life became threatened by bipolar disorder, I had to find a way to work without rules. I had to hack the system. I needed angels, and I needed them yesterday. You know what? They showed up, as did the Christ.

Guys, you need reverberating power rippling through your mind to the point where you will do anything that God asks of you. You must race through barriers that you have spent your entire life setting up. Maybe there is a particular fear that has been sitting on your soul your whole life. Jump right at it...headfirst...and see what happens. Odds are God will reveal a truth that you had not been privy to.
The world is scary as hell. To some of you, the world might seem like it is the literal hell. If that is where you are, you need Christ much worse than some people, therefore you must do whatever you have to do to reach Him. If you are screaming at night, asking Him to show Himself.....have you considered that He might be doing the same thing to you? He probably has been knocking on your door for so long that He thinks you’ll never hear. The secret to fixing that problem is to get outside yourself. Focus on the needs of others. Put you on the back-burner. Let those in need around you show you the truth that you have been missing.
God is a funny guy, and He’s also deadly serious. He wants to have fun with you, but only if you are willing to drive as fast as He is willing to go. God does not operate in the past, only the present. Take your foot off the brake, slam it on the gas, and whatever happens happens. It might be weird, it might be scary....but it will be a big improvement.
Remember that in this world there is no such thing as halfway. If you go part of the way, it will just get you half-satisfaction. God wants you to be completely satisfied with your life experience. He wants you to serve, but He also wants it to be fun! Take that next step and cram all of your energy into the God-mobile. Let Him do the driving and just slam that gas pedal so hard that the car hits 500mph.
Life is extremely fun, but only if you let your feet off the ground and sprout those wings. You want to know what it is like to have wings? Mine hang in my closet. And when I take them out, just for fun, life really does not get any better!
