Wondering what you'll be doing right after you die?

I'm big into control. I like to make my own decisions. Generally it seems like my choices are pretty good. Now at 33 I don't think I could have gotten here without some decent judgment. Heck, I've already seen a handful of people from my high school class die or get killed from bad decision making. What's the best choice I ever made? To work for Jesus, and to let Him be the co-pilot of my life.

It is a cliche'. Lots of people say the same thing! However, there is a vast difference between myself and others. I don't have proof of this world. I don't have a mountain of assumptions that I'm sitting precariously on top of. I have a completely clean slate every morning, a chance to tackle challenges and improve myself and others. But who has the control? Well, it is the one who contains the key to my future, and obviously that's Jesus.

Death may be different than what you imagine. I look at it as a trial, with supporters and witnesses and a judge and everything. But what is definitely different is that the win ratio when Jesus is your attorney is perfect! No losses. No losses ever. So why does not everybody work with Him now to get that kind of treatment later? Good question.

Ask your friends! Ask them if they want the most powerful being there is to stand next to them a few moments after the reaper pulls you from here to there. What are the negatives? There aren't any. He pulls no punches and makes no mistakes. He can wipe out sins that no one else can. You can ask your priest, minister, pastor...whatever...to hear your confession, or to listen to your guilty pleasures. But they will be the first to tell you that it won't be THEM standing next to you in heaven's court!

Take a moment, ponder the idea that there may be a few people in your life who don't understand how the structure works, and then send them an email telling them that you are willing to help. After all, it is not a huge church audience that convinces prospects to jump on the Jesus train. It is usually close friends, who would rather not spend eternity without everyone they love!
