You can do anything. ANYTHING! When you have faith in the Son of God.
I must have been about 16. I was dying from bipolar disorder. Every day I wanted to kill myself. One night I decided that I could not take it anymore. So I grabbed all my medications, and took them into my bathroom. I started the water in the tub, and set the box of meds on the toilet. I look at the meds, and then my eye caught something at the door. It was an angel.
He was dressed all in black. He had a very pale face and long black hair. I asked who he worked for and he said he was here to tell me that death was not on the menu for tonight because God needed me in the future. I told him I could not keep living like this, that it was just too painful. Then he sat down next to me and went over a few things. A few reasons why I should not give up.
The first reason was that people needed me in the future. He told me I would become extremely powerful in the Kingdom of God and I would help many people all over the world. The second reason is that my family needed me desperately. He told me that suicide would completely destroy my parents and brothers. I had a two year old brother at the time, and the angel told me that he needed me very much, and I had to be around for him. The next reason was that I was to carry on a line of powerful servants of the Lord. I would get married in the future to a great woman, and my children HAD to be around, because they were key to God’s plan on Earth.
I looked at him and he looked at me. I told him that I needed a lot of help from now on. Without lots of help I would not get through life. He then told me that absolutely any time I needed help, the Christ would send an army of angels to assist me. They would show up any time I needed them, regardless of situation. I asked him, why me? Why was I getting this attention? And he told me that for many many years my family had been working for the Christ, and this is what happens when a family’s faith is strong and God spends every minute walking next to them.
As I closed my eyes and contemplated what he told me, the angel disappeared, and I was left to my thoughts.
For years now there have been miracle after miracle. Absolutely amazing things have happened in my life and the lives of those around me. God has provided so many blessings, I can’t even count them. I go through life changing things in a positive way every second of every day. If you think something is impossible, I can guarantee you that it is not. This kind of power does exist, and it can be yours.
All you have to do is ask Jesus for it. Soon enough it will be yours too.
