They are the same, folks. Scary, but true.
Have you ever thought about a course of action you took, and then wondered why you did it? Maybe because it was a huge mistake? Then you find yourself asking God: “Why did you guide me down this path?” Well, He guided you down that path because He wanted you to learn the lesson that the mistake provided.
God is all about learning. That may sound funny when speaking of an all-knowing, all-seeing entity, but He loves to learn and He loves for you to learn. He lives through you, and you live through Him. When you make a huge mistake, He is right there, grateful for you learning the lesson the mistake provided.
People are always asking me, “What does God want me to do?” Well, God wants you to keep trying. In a nutshell, that is all He wants you to do. If you want to do God’s will, then just keep plugging away. That is his instruction. That is ALL He instructs. Everything boils down to that. So, mystery solved. No more debate is needed.
I love analyzing my life and wondering if I could have done some things better. The real answer is no, but the answer I trick myself into believing is yes. The past is perfect. It always will be perfect. There was never another way for the past to have occurred. The present is the only thing that is exists. Nothing exists outside of the present, except for God. The future is opportunity. Anything can happen in the future, if you can succeed in the present. The fastest and most efficient way to succeed in the present is to do that which provides you with the most healthy joy.
Spend a little time wondering why you are always looking for guidance, instead of believing that you are a very intelligent, gifted person who can make quality choices. You have everything you need. If God needs to provide you with something, He will. Stop trying to guess what you think He might want you to do. Just go with your joyous choices. Life never gets any better than that, as much as you might want to convince yourself otherwise.
