You might have thought it was the other way around.
What gets us through the day? Our family? Our work? Our goals and ambitions? Maybe food or drink? Nope. What gets us through the day is our next breath, which you have absolutely no control over.
What is this world about? Why are we floating in a void, spinning around, gathering and fetching in order to keep ourselves fed? What’s the point? Its a project, folks. You might think it is your lives, or a big showdown between good and evil. Well, not completely. In the fullest sense, we’re in a project.
Did you notice that thing called the environment? Why does it behave the way it does? It does what it does in order to keep us alive. We are energy units being groomed for harvesting. We call it different things, but that is the entire point. You can call it your soul, or your spirit, or your avatar. What you carry around inside of you everyday is a very valuable energy unit, contained within a physical husk.
In your life, what do you think is yours, and what do you think is God’s? About 20% is yours, and the rest is His. He has created you and everything around you purely for His purpose. Somewhere along the way some taint entered the equation, now we all must spend some time trying to clean it out. But make no mistake, you are no more than 20% of the effort. He is doing the rest.
I want to make a difference in this place. I have lots of goals and desires. I want to have a certain kind of effect on the world, and I want a certain return. At the same time, I am not tricking myself into believing that I can produce that. I can try....yes...but the vast majority of the accomplishment is left up to the Almighty. That’s always how it is. I may want something with every inch of my power, but if it does not synch up with what He wants, it will never happen.
To properly leverage this system, you must acknowledge it. You must understand how it works. You must believe that it is true. Without trusting the truth, you can never move forward, and you will be stuck in this place forever.
