The Jesus investment

That's what He was. Jesus was an investment in this world. God saw a hurting population, barely able to avoid killing each other, and He felt the need for change.

Why do we make investments? In the hope that in the future they produce returns. Do you think Jesus has produced returns that serve God? Absolutely. Jesus also happened to be the best networker and the best businessman in history. Who else set up systems like Him? Nobody. Now, pay close attention to the way I'm wording this. I am not disrespecting Christ in the slightest. I am just pointing out some of the methods that the Almighty has used to make a profound impact on a world that still really does not have things moving forward.

When you meet someone new, how soon do they know that you represent Christ? In my case, they know immediately, since I always wear a cross or a Christian t-shirt. What kind of investment are you making in your religion? Have you come to believe that it is absolutely the best way for you to spend ALL of your time? That's something I'm learning just now. That maybe Christ really can show me how to support my family, purely by working for Him.

Let's face it folks, this place needs a massive overhaul. It has been almost two thousand years since God provided His Son for our sake, and I'm not really sure if we're where we are supposed to be. I still see so many problems, I doubt they can get stamped out fast enough. I know lots of people are talking "end times", but frankly I never see enough proof to really buy into it. There has always been turmoil in the world, and "end times" can be inserted into half the international articles and somehow look correct.

Why make a Jesus investment? Because it is the best kind! Teach the gospel, spread the Word, publicize your faith! It brings a certain power to how you spend your day. I'm a much happier person now that I spend my days fielding calls from people who need Christ. Find out for yourself! Dedicate a day a week to doing ministry work. Wondering how? Ask me. I've gotten pretty good at it.
